Why Kanvess Clothing? With our headquarters in Kansas City, the word, Kanvess is not only a local nod to our great city, but an emphasis on the idea behind a blank canvas. As a company, we are empowered by the notion of a fresh start. We believe that no matter what an individual has been through they have a chance to redesign their life with an opportunity for brighter days ahead.
We give a portion of our profits to local, national, and global organizations that help individuals, no matter their circumstances, receive the tools and resources they need to reset a new direction in their life. Sometimes life isn’t about second chances. It’s about the third, or fourth, or fifth.

meet our founder
Hi, I’m Nina Whitmore, founder of Kanvess Clothing. After almost 20 years of working in Corporate America where I supported the visions and goals of those I worked for, I wanted to start supporting a vision of my own. Kanvess Clothing was born from a dream to design beautiful, intentional clothing that is sourced from sustainable materials while being inclusive to all. Above all, I strive to be an advocate for my community and give back to others who are looking to restart their own lives. Pivoting my career helped me reset, and rediscover myself—the same mission Kanvess Clothing has set to help others achieve. We’re excited to be here.
